Paul Trefry, 43 Glidden Street, thanked councilors for everything they have done in their roles to
support the airport, including handling leases, approving grants, and approving funding from the
city to help support the airport.
Carole Rein, 27 Pratt Avenue, asked Councilors to contact congressional elected officials and the
White House to call for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Lorinda Visnick, 39 Middlebury Lane, read a land acknowledgement statement. Visnick asked if
most residents know about the ordinance that requires residents to clear their sidewalks of snow
and fire hydrants and if it is realistic to ask homeowners on corners to clear snow where it has
been built up by plows. Visnick expressed her appreciation for the public services department's
efforts to clear the roads and sidewalks. Visnick stated when the plows pile snow onto corners,
curb cutouts get covered and are not accessible and bus stops are not clear for children.
