Comm. Pres. Comm. 06_17_2021 -final-approved Marino understands that neighborhood groups privately fundraising to support the upgrade of equipment in neighborhood parks are each required to contribute $15,000.00. She is concerned that this may be a difficult hill to climb for some neighborhood groups. McCrory suggests that the public fundraiser group meet with the Recreation Department if they are finding it difficult to meet the goal of$15,000.00. Richter states that some groups have returned to the CPC for additional funding if they cannot raise their projected funds. Marino asks Deschamps about the MOU approval process. Deschamps explains that the first few pages of the MOU are specific to individual projects and the remainder of the document is largely boilerplate. After Deschamps completes a draft she sends it to the applicant for their review. Once they are comfortable with the content it is reviewed by several municipal department heads including the Director of Planning, the Purchasing Agent, the City Solicitor's Office and the City Treasurer. Ultimately, it is signed by the applicant, the City Treasurer and the Mayor. • Adiournment Beckwith moves to adjourn at 8:32 p.m. Seconded by Marino. Deschamps takes a roll call vote. All members in favor; the motion passes 6-0. Members will not meet in July and will resume in August.
