School Committee met. Present Messr. Baker, Giddings, Day, Griffin, Hinkley,
Tuck, Boyden, Cole.
The Proposals received for painting the Cove School House were as follows, viz.;
Benj. F. Dodge and Co. $188.00
J.V. Porter and Co. 170.00
John Remmonds 149.00
Voted that the contract be awarded to John Remmonds.
Voted that the sub-committee of the Cove School be authorized to have the privy vaults
cleared out.
Voted that Alice Merrill be authorized teach of the Farms Intermediate School.
The Text Book Committee gave notice of the proposed substitution of the Graphic
System of Penmanship instead of that now in use.
Voted to adjourn till Wednesday evening next.
