GEORGE HELLER LICENSE BOARD CITY OF BEVERLY MASSACHUSETTS MINUTES - BEVERLY LICENSE BOARD -JULY 23, 1998 Meeting called to order at 6:05 p.m. Members Oliver Cook and George Heller present. Acting Chairman Oliver Cook introduced the members of the Board. Bertucci's - Change of officers, stockholders and Board of Directors. Also a change of manager. Eric Kuhn, attorney, present to represent Bertucci's. Tim Conlon, who will be the on site manager, was also present. Bertucci's Restaurant Corp. holds liquor license. There will be an upper level ownership change. ABCC has given tentative approval of changes because there are so many locations. Tim has been at the company for five years. He lives at 51Williams Street. Opening date will be August 26. Mr. Cook asked if anyone present in favor of the application? No. Anyone opposed? No. Mr. Heller - Motion to approve the application as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Cook. Motion carried 2-0. Bella Italia dba Bella Venezia. Anthony Pamariello present to represent the corporation. He stated he has been involved for four years. He is the chef and manager. Stated he was buying into the corporation. Mr. Cook - you will be having a 50% interest? Yes, Sheila and Georgio will each have a 25% interest. He stated he lives in Revere. Has had 30 years experience in the restaurant business. Investing $50,000 in the business. Paying $1,000 a month. Is it secured? No. Minutes - July 23, 1998 Page 2 Mr. Cook - #14A on the application needs to be answered properly. Also #14B needs attention. Green cards submitted. Anyone present in favor of the application? present. Anyone present in opposition application? No. No one to the Mr. Heller - Motion - To approve the change of directors at Bella Venezia. Seconded by Mr. Cook. Motion carried 2-0. 3. One day licenses - Endicott College - Dialogus, August 16 - Motion made and seconded to approve the license. Motion carried 2-0. 4. Clerk instructed to poll surrounding communities for fee schedule. Fusion's - Clerk instructed to send letter to attorney for Fusion's to let him know of the status of the license.
