Oct. 28, 1955 9 A.M. the Finance Committee Mrs. Conrad, Mr. Brown and Mr. Cagan were present. Mr. Birmingham was unable to attend. The Salary and Maintenance amounts were set to be voted on at the next regular meeting of the Board in Nov. - Salaries 45,791 - this included raises for most. Maintenance $16,000; Other outlays 4000: - Lighting in stacks 1250; New furniture 1000; Flooring third floor 1000; Fence and walk at Farms 750 - Total budget 65,891.00 It was agreed that the Budget Committee should try to meet with the Mayor and explain why this amount was needed.
