BOARD OF HEALTH - MONTHLY MEETING - February 3, 1969
Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. Members present were Dr. Fine, Chairman; A. J. Callahan and
Angelo Massa. Also attending Leo Panunzio, Thomas Scanlan, Robert Russo. Absent: Joseph W.
Walsh, Jr.
OLD BUSINESS
Incinerator
The Board discussed the incinerator at Purity and Marshall's. After their discussion, Mr. Hannaford
and Mr. Miano came in before the Board and explained their case. They told the Board that they had
met with the owners of the Commodore and had discussed:
1. Modifications of new incinerator;
2. Location (not to be installed on Enon Street)
3. Water discharge (more information on number of gallons per hour intake and gallons per hour
output. )
In addition Dr. Fine discussed the dumping problem with Purity Supreme.
After this there was a general discussion on all phases of incineration dumping, etc.
NEW BUSINESS
The monthly reports were accepted as read and the monthly bill schedules were approved and signed.
Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
