Delaney, Marian P. Motley, and Fred H. Porter Board members absent: James A. Cronin, Caleb B. Hood, Katharine P. Loring, Rev. Clarence S. Pond, William A. Rowe and Robert O. Small Others present: Recorder: Marjorie H. Stanton August 27th, 1931 The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Thursday, August 27th at 4 P.M. There were present of the Trustees Mrs. Motley, Mr. Porter and Mr. Delaney. In the absence of Miss Loring, Mrs. Motley was appointed chairman pro tem. Since there was not a quorum present and there were no matters of importance to come before the Board, the business of the meeting was confined to the reading of the records of the meeting of July 30. The report of the Finance Committee, and the report of the Committee on Circulation which recommended the purchase of 72 new titles and the receipt of 24 gifts. These reports were accepted, subject to the approval of the Board at its next meeting. Voted: to adjourn Adjourned Marjorie H. Stanton Secretary
