Mayor Torrey, to discuss ways of increasing library facilities.
This Committee, consisting of Mr. Baker, Mr. Parker, and Doctor Murray, discussed at
length the possibilities of relieving the over crowded conditions of the reading room; and expressed
their readiness to transfer to the library account the sum of $750.00, to cover the cost of equipping
the lecture hall as an evening reading room for young men and boys of High School age: -

Mr. Delaney reported that this sum had been appropriated, and that work would be
commenced at once.
Mr. Small presented a statement of expenditures for the year, and then presented for
consideration the budget for 1936, as prepared by the Finance Committee, explaining in detail each

cover payment for more hours of work on the part of part-time workers on the Staff.

$32,5 13.00 and one half the dog tax. The Finance Committee was instructed to present this budget,
